I live on an estuary in East Anglia, with my husband and two dogs.  A recurring theme of my work is nature, landscape and animals.


Having lived near water and in the countryside most of my life, I'm naturally drawn to this as the inspiration for my work.  I paint from still life, sketches 'en plein air' and photographs I take on dog walks and runs around Suffolk, Essex and Derbyshire.  I'm drawn to the atmosphere of early morning and dusk, colour, florals and the quirky character in animal faces.  I like to capture light, colour, shape, beauty, raindrops, moody skies and long land/seascapes.
